C3P Cohorts
What is the C3P Cohort?
The C3P Cohort is an added delivery modality for EnergySec’s existing C3P program. It is intended to provide an extended, guided learning process that combines the best attributes of online self-study and instructor-led courses. Best of all, C3P participants need not choose between study approaches. Cohort participation is available in addition to all other available modalities, including in-person and online instructor-led course sessions, and our LMS-based online learning option. Each Cohort will span approximately five months, though schedules will vary due to holidays and other factors.
Cohort Sessions
Each cohort will provide the sessions listed below, at a minimum. Additionally, participants may join any scheduled “Office Hours” session to ask questions and discuss topics with other learners and instructors. Cohort sessions will be scheduled for two hours each.

This session will prepare participants to successfully pass the knowledge test and complete the essay requirements for C3P certification.
Components
A C3P Cohort is a scheduled, structured learning experience that unites a group of learners with an instructor that guides the learning experience. Course material and study guides are available online for participant review at their convenience. Regular overview and Q&A sessions are scheduled for the cohort to confirm understanding, more deeply explore key concepts, and answer questions.
Registration
Cohorts are available to everyone that is currently enrolled in the C3P program. There is no additional cost to participate in a cohort. Although registration is not required to participate in Cohort sessions, we strongly recommend enrolling to a specific Cohort to provide awareness to the instructors and ensure you receive all Cohort-related communications.
